HUGE shoutout to the legend for this incredible Crimson-rumped Toucanet piece!! This tattoo means more to me than most can imagine, and reflects my time spent in the West slope of the Andes and the Cloud rainforest in Ecuador with my amazing friend and guide if you need a fantastic tattoo experience, come to Chris Rhodes!! And if you need a once in a lifetime Birding/eco/natural history guide in Ecuador, go to Nelson Apollo!! The number 373 symbolizes the number of bird species I saw during my 13 DAYS in Ecuador! Thanks a million once again to both Chris and Nelson for making this such an unforgettable and amazing part of my life.

Everyone, PLEASE look at this! Have you ever had a bird smack your window or door glass? I had at least 7 strikes (3 were fatal) in the past 6 months.. it sucks to witness, even more so to come home to one that has passed and have to pick up the poor thing..and I absolutely had to find a way of prevention. Check out this guide, you could have this remedied in about an hour and for only $7.

1st step: Swipe to my 3rd photo on this post and purchase this white paint marker made by Uniposca on Amazon, it's in stock and a little less than 7 bucks.

2nd step: Locate a tape measure and a 24-48" level depending on the size of your window/door glass that you'll be marking.

3rd Step: Clean your windows on the exterior thoroughly, be sure to start the lines right away. (The cleaner your windows, the more likely a bird will strike them.)

4th step: Draw VERTICAL lines EVERY 3.5 INCHES on the OUTSIDE of your windows. (If you slip and mistakenly mess a line up you can wipe this off with ease by using only your fingertip or a dry paper towel.) Do not worry, it dries fast and stays on long!

5th step: Enjoy nature and the birds around you. The lines really are not all that distracting. I have a gorgeous view of the Grand River through two double-sliding glass doors, and still love my decision to put the lines up. Going on one month and have not had one SINGLE BIRD strike the glass! Pat yourself on the back for being an extraordinary human and taking preventive measures to protect them from us. Please consider this!!

BIG ANNOUNCEMENT!!!

Bridge Street Art Works Gallery, located in the harbor of Ashtabula, Ohio reached out to me about showcasing my photography prints in their gallery! It is an honor to be side by side with other amazing local artists, and to be able to begin my first endeavor of selling my work!

A percentage of ALL proceeds will be going to the Black Swamp Bird Observatory! I chose this organization so that I may help to fund all of their wonderful programs like migratory bird banding and research, and the preservation of absolutely necessary migratory stop-over points such as Magee Marsh itself.

My prints are NOT available just yet, they are on order and I'm hoping to have them displayed in the galley by January 1st!
But it all depends on when they're shipped and arrive, also when I can get my Vendors License, but I will keep everyone up to date!

But fear not, my girlfriend is currently working on a website with a store where you may order my prints online and have them shipped right to your door!!

She also designed these gorgeous business cards, so big shoutout to her for all of her help and support through this journey called life. I could not do it without her.

Thank you everyone for all of your continued support, I hope that you consider checking out Bridge Street Art Works Gallery and supporting local artists such as myself!
