🍂happy equinox🍃

Ian and I spent almost 21 hours outside in the mountains ringing in the equinox. unfortunately we were climbing down on the side opposite sunset but I was able to sneak in a golden hour photo before we descended below the ridge. It was breathtaking!

i know its been a while since I posted, and it’s largely because I don’t think my photos are good enough. the irony is that this mindset is only holding me back! also I’m notoriously bad at getting photos off my camera…

but I printed some out to show my family this holiday season and it was such a great feeling to show them all of the gorgeous sights i encountered this year in colorado.

this particular photo was from a weekend where ian and I camped out for a couple nights to trade in mountain climbing for “lake bagging” and it was a lovely change of pace to balance out our summer.

so, my goal this year is to post photos even if they’re not perfect ✨☀️💙

I’d say my regret this summer was that many times this summer I wanted to burst in song from the sound of music and I never did it 🎶

I may have stayed in one state the entire summer for probably the first time in my life, but it was worth it for places like this
