You don’t know it’s the last summer… until it already was.
The last summer they chased a ball.
The last summer they met you at the door.
The last summer they climbed into the truck.
The last summer they laid in the sunshine while you worked outside.
We always think we’ll have atleast one more.
One more walk.
One more adventure.
One more picture.
Until one day… we don’t.
