Jadeyah & Xavier on digital and 35mm with some fun light leaks

This day at Lanier Island Resort was HOT but so, so wonderful! At about 300 folks, this was one of the largest weddings I’ve shot and there was so much love to go around. After wrapping up the ceremony at the islands we headed to Tannery Row for a reception. I’ll always be a fan of a live band at weddings and a mantilla veil!

I can officially cross shooting a Ren Faire wedding off my list. This day was legitimately so much fun!! Mandi & Brandon (comically called Brandi) switched from a woodland fairytale to an all out Ren Faire, complete with axe throwing and turkey legs. The guys were decked out in swords and shields, while the ladies were daintily adorned in fairy-esque attire. After a beautiful ceremony, one of the highlights of the reception was a D&D-like “quest to slay the dragon” in order to receive party favors. There were so many more fun details, but these were some of my favorites. This day truly was a blast and I was thrilled to be a part of it. Congrats to Brandi!

This family gallery is my current obsession. It’s giving Little House on the Prairie.

I absolutely love shooting weddings and elopements, but I’d be lying if I said I didn’t look forward to slower season each year so that I can go back to my roots and take on more family sessions! I usually don’t have time for them during peak wedding season in spring and fall, so it’s always a nice change of pace.

Sharing a little slice of moody cottagecore dreams. came to me with this brilliant concept and asked if I’d be interested in cohosting with her and my answer was immediately yes. When you mix whimsy with intention and sprinkle in connection this sort of magic is the result. We had so much fun collaborating! Another great year at !
