I spend so much time sharing your families, your marriages, your babies, and your biggest moments. I figured it was time to introduce you to some of my chosen family, my circle, my girls.
Can I be honest?
I think every woman has known what comparison feels like.
We compare our bodies.
Our friendships.
Our homes.
Our gifts.
Our lives.
Sometimes we don’t even mean to. It just happens.
But I’ve learned that comparison is exhausting, and it’s never where Jesus asks us to live.
Lately, I’ve been asking Him to keep showing me where my heart has become offended, hardened, or quick to compare. Even if it’s uncomfortable. Even if it means changing me.
I want a heart that looks more like His.
A heart full of love.
A heart that chooses joy.
A heart that brings peace.
A heart that’s patient, kind, and gentle.
A heart that’s faithful.
A heart that celebrates someone else’s blessing instead of comparing it to my own.
That’s the fruit I want growing in my life.
These women remind me that friendships don’t have to be built on competition. They can be built on encouragement, honesty, prayer, laughter, and pointing each other back to Jesus.
What a gift that is.
