.usa, it was absolutely an honor to be in your presence today. What you stand for goes beyond words. Seeing this in real life, in real time was so emotional and so raw. Earlier in the year, I got to assist by second shooting one of her weddings! As excited as I was, I was also very nervous. I had only ever really done small intimate weddings and family sessions. Theary assured me I would be fine, and with her guidance, I was! It was an absolute joy to witness such a beautiful couple tie the knot! So grateful for this experience! 🤍

Some friends of mine had unexpectedly lost their grandmother recently & asked that I photograph this special Lao ceremony for them. And although it’s not my average type photography, I was honored to have been able to. To show the culture I grew up in while showing respect to some friends - I just wanted to show a touch of that. Love the Lao culture and my Lao people. 🤍
