This exhibition is my declaration of truth, resistance, and love. It is a visual testament to the cultures that weave together the true, vibrant fabric of our world, cultures too sacred and resilient to be silenced by the myth of a single story.

The white grids within these paintings represent imposed systems of control, erasure, and forced conformity. They symbolize the many attempts to whitewash our history and our communities. But the grid is cracking, the light is bleeding through, and the beauty of a deeper truth shines on.

This work is an act of historical excavation, digging through inherited darkness to uncover what has been hidden. It exposes a profound irony: the white armor of dominance is built upon the very cultures it attempts to erase, forgetting that white light itself contains every color of the spectrum. You cannot carry a rainbow in your DNA and declare yourself colorless or superior.

The gold and radiant light emerging through the surface honors every ancestor, culture, and voice pushed to the margins. No matter how much history is buried, the truth rises. The people rise, the colors remain, and our collective love for our heritage, rituals, and roots cannot be contained.

Ultimately, this body of work is a reminder that our differences are gifts, not threats, and that unity rooted in respect is our true strength. It invites us to see more clearly, to honor those who were silenced, and to rise together, bold, beautiful, and unapologetically visible.

Happy 4th Birthday, Jack!
This little guy is a natural in front of the camera and always brings so much personality to every session!
I've had the privilege of photographing this beautiful family since Mom and Dad were engaged, and it's incredible to see how quickly the years have flown by. Watching their story unfold, from engagement photos to family milestones like this, reminds me why I love what I do.
One of the greatest gifts of this work is seeing clients year after year and building relationships that grow into genuine friendships. Being trusted to capture these memories is truly one of the greatest honors of my life.

This week’s session was more than just a marketing shoot—it was a decade-long tradition. I had the pleasure of getting Danielle Grier behind my lens once again. Danielle isn’t just a phenomenal local realtor; she’s been a close friend for most of my life and a dedicated client for the last 10 years.
