Professional rule #1: Don’t test three new things at once.
Rule follower? Never heard of her. πŸ™ƒ

Testing out the dream setup: the gorgeous bokeh on the SIGMA America 85mm f/1.2, powerful Flashpoint Lighting Xplor 400, and my new hauling sidekick, the Westcott Lighting photo wagon. Every single piece performed like an absolute dream!
Until, naturally, I dropped my trigger on the concrete and broke it mid-session, but the magic was still there.

I'll be in Rocklin CA at Action Camera in a week teaching about fairytale portraits for SIGMA America and I'm SO EXCITED! It'll be my first time meeting that store and being in that area. Come out for my class if you're close!!

I'm so excited for this lens. The SIGMA America 85mm 1.2. I've seriously been waiting for this lens my whole life. Or at least the entire time I have been using a Sony camera. So like, 8 years. It's gorgeous and a lot smaller and lighter than I would have guessed! I am planning some really fun sessions with it and they should be gorgeous. I already know this will be my new favorite lens, but theoretically this one is a loaner. I'm pretty sure Sigma is not getting it back.πŸ˜‚
Also, I've never gotten a chance to unbox a new lens with the new packaging. It's so luxe.
