Look at these two together. Married for at least a few years now. During a break I asked him "what's your favorite thing about her?" And he replied "it's the magic. She puts magic into everything she does and I love it"

I normally avoid direct light like the plague unless it's backlight but this session choices were made because that skirt was better in the sun and this ended up being one of my favorite images. She just looks exactly the way her personality is: she glows from within.

Remember a month or so ago when I asked if I should rename by Memorial Princess Sessions? The overwhelming answer was YES!!

I run a charity event every year where the community nominates medically or genetically fragile kids for fantasy photography sessions. They're named the 'Sabina Hartley Burke and Ava Jane Gibson Memorial Princess Sessions' in honor of the two girls that I did photos for before they passed away, the inspiration for these sessions. BUT it's a huge mouthful and it often gets shared as just 'memorial princess sessions', which has made some mothers not want to participate as well as making it souls like it's ONLY for terminally ill kids. So I'm renaming it. Sabina and Ava Jane will stay, I just need a new name that goes in place of 'memorial princess sessions'.

Help me pick! I'm leaning towards Crowns of Courage myself. 👑

You know what? I'm still so much in love with these photos that I needed to revisit them. I think Creative collaboration between two artists is truly the best way to connect to another human being. The thoughts and ideas that both people bring to the table creates its own sort of magic.
