Love is in the air! 💗 This Valentines Day I will be doing tintypes at in Athens, GA, come celebrate love with me! You can schedule your appointment at the link in my bio or we will be set up from noon - 7ish so come on by! ❤️

The world is in a dark place right now and it’s hard to know where to go and what to do sometimes. But, like Benito says, love is stronger than hate! So grab your love and bring it to the tattoo shop with me. ❤️

As always, by bring your love I mean that in the broadest sense. You can love yourself, love your bestie, love your partner, love your pet & bring it with you for your tintype. That’s what we’re celebrating, a full & generous heart. And with a literal garland of hearts, we are leaning in cause theme matters this Saturday! See you soon!

Cricket Update - The vet just called and we got bloodwork results in. Bloodwork is normal, but Cricket has always had a mild heart murmur but at our last checkup it was upgraded to grade 3. So we did a Pro BNP blood test that came back elevated. This is the test that measures the proteins that his heart releases. 6 months ago it was 800 and now it’s up to 1300 so that means there’s been a structural change to his heart, an abnormality of some kind. Normal limit is 900. She’s going to start him on heart medication today and we definitely need to do X-rays before the surgery to see what’s going on. Depending on what she finds, there’s a chance surgery will be too risky to remove the lump. Either way after this we will be visiting a specialist after this to really determine what is going on. Holding him extra tight today. ❤️

Y’all have overwhelmed me SO MUCH with all of the donations. In 24hrs we hit my first goal, the minimum amount needed to cover the surgery. Now that we know he needs the x-rays, we are reaching for my next goal, which is just taking care of him. Cricket has been there for all of the best & hardest times of my adulthood and the response already has been more incredible than I can even comprehend.

Thank you, thank you for being here. Thank you for loving him and showing up for him and us. Thank you for everything. It means the absolute world ❤️

TINTYPE RAFFLE TIME 🎉 Attention tintype enthusiasts! As you may know, Cricket is my ride or die, absolute favorite, and Captain of the pitiful pitbull club. He’s a senior boy now and unfortunately needs surgery to remove a lump on his neck. This lump may or may not be cancerous but for now we’re just hoping like h*ll it’s not 🤞🏼 What a great time to have a raffle to raise money to help Cricket!
