Abigail & Noah embraced the rain like it was always part of the plan 🤍

The skies opened up just as the sun began to set, pouring around them while the dreamiest golden light peeked through the clouds. They held each other close, completely unbothered by the rain falling all around them, and slow danced in the middle of it like nobody else existed.

Tears mixed with raindrops.
Wet hair, soaked clothes, laughter, forehead touches, and the kind of love that feels too beautiful to be staged.

It felt straight out of a notebook scene — ethereal, emotional, cinematic in the softest way. One of those evenings that reminds me the most magical moments are usually the unplanned ones ✨🌧️

One of the sweetest parts of a wedding day is watching a mom quietly take it all in… helping with the veil, holding back tears, remembering the little girl who once needed help tying her shoes.

And somehow, in what feels like the blink of an eye, she’s a bride.

There’s a moment on a wedding day that feels almost suspended in time.

Just after the ceremony, the music is playing, glasses are clinking, and the celebration you dreamed about for months is unfolding all around you. And then—just for a few minutes—you slip away together.

Out into the sunset light full of pink + purple skies.

From a distance, you can see it all. The tables set so beautifully. Your favorite people laughing together. Everyone find in their seats you intentionally chose for them. The quiet realization that every person there showed up because they love you.

It’s the first moment all day when everything slows down enough to take it in.

Sunset portraits aren’t just about the light (though that glow is pure magic). They’re about perspective. The two of you stepping away from the whirlwind to look at the celebration you created, hand in hand, realizing this is really happening.

And somehow, in that soft sunset light, the joy of the entire day settles in.

The laughter drifting across the lawn.
The music starting to swell.
The beginning of the party waiting just behind you.

It’s dreamy. It’s cinematic. It’s the kind of moment that becomes a core memory of the day.

Today feels like a beautiful little milestone.
Five years of loving you, and somehow only 200 days until we say “I do.”

Looking back on this night celebrating our engagement with the people who mean the most to us makes my heart so full. Watching so many of our favorite humans gather in one place to toast the life we’re building together was something I’ll never forget.

Five years of growing, dreaming, laughing, and building a life side by side… and now we’re counting down the days until forever.

If this season has taught me anything, it’s how incredibly lucky we are to be surrounded by people who love us so deeply. What a gift this chapter is — and what a beautiful beginning to the next one. 🤍
