In Ohio, animal welfare teams and authorities rescued over 250 animals—foxes, raccoon dogs, mink, and more—from a fur farm where they were living in heartbreaking conditions.
Every single one was carefully transported to sanctuaries and specialist facilities for the medical care, warmth, and gentle rehabilitation they deserve. Among them were two red foxes who have now found their forever home at ZooTampa in Florida, settling beautifully into the Florida Wilds area with space to roam, play, and just be animals again.
This large-scale rescue shines a light on why ending fur farming matters—and shows the incredible difference one coordinated effort can make for hundreds of lives.
These animals went from suffering to safety, and stories like this remind us that compassion can change everything.
