to whom much is given, much will be required… on the drive over I thought about what has transpired while pursuing this degree… heartbreak, loss of job, gaining a job, covid, loneliness, family issues, lossing my father, hof, gaining my confidence, etc.

It has been a ride. I will continue to let God guide my steps and help others with my gifts.

How did I get into Photography? You see this gorgeous man right here? He is the reason I got into Photography. This is Bryant “Savage” Rogers. He was my longtime roommate, former co-worker at the NBA Store, and my brother from another mother.

One day we were in the apartment and he said “Hey Raeven, I need you to take some pictures of me.” I was like “Sure no problem.” Idk if Savage ever saw me take a picture in my life up until that moment, but we went on to do at least 3 more shoots.

At the time we shot all those photos on my iPhone. Later that year I upgraded to a DSLR cause the iPhone wasn’t doing it for me anymore. We did a test shoot and one of the pictures we did found its way onto a billboard overseas, helping Bryant get a Nike contract. That’s how I found my passion for photography.
