A few months ago, I had the privilege to speak at Day of Rest Photography Workshop and it was just that, a day to slow down, rest/reset, and surround ourselves with like minded community!🎞️

It’s always so nice to be reminded of how important it is in this business to slow down. I know I so often feel like I need to be constantly shooting or constantly booking to be successful or feel like “I’ve made it” but a day like this reminded me of how much it can be to just freely shoot and remove the pressure of needing to “show up” and “perform”.

I told myself I would shoot a few film shots and just spend time connecting, I got these scans back and couldn’t help but share them with the world and throw on the feed forever! ENJOY 🤩🤠

Loved being apart of & wedding day. It’s always such a gift when another photographer reaches out to photograph their day and this one was even sweeter knowing that I met Hannah in 2019 at camp where I was a counselor and she was a photographer to knowing she played a large role in me picking my camera back up and pursuing this career! A very special full circle moment I’ll always be grateful for! ❤️

I went on a photo walk last week to finish a roll of film and also just take in all the color this spring has already offered! I never felt so inspired and full of life.

What made it even cooler is that all of this was just around my neighborhood. If you’ve been following along with me, you know I was training for a half March 1st which had me doing a lot of that training in the winter (everything was dead) and now to go on walks/runs and see everything start to bloom is so cool!

Loved Molly & Michael’s wedding colors so much and the table arrangements throughout the reception were amazing! And capturing it in ambient light and flash made it even more baller! 🤩
