From the Classroom to the Evergreen State 🌲

Teaching at KIPP Soul through Teach For America has been one of the most challenging and meaningful chapters of my life. There were days I questioned everything, moments I felt stretched thin, and lessons that didn’t go as planned. But those lows never outweighed the growth, joy, and love that filled my classroom.

My students inspired me every single day. They showed me what brilliance, resilience, and joy look like. They gave me purpose, even on the hardest days.

This experience taught me how to lead with love, create structure rooted in care, and meet people where they are while holding space for where they can go. It shaped not only the educator I am but the human I’m becoming.

Now I’m stepping into a new chapter as a Residence Director at Gonzaga University in Washington State. I’m excited to build new communities, grow in new ways, and continue capturing stories through my lens.

To my students: thank you for trusting me with your growth.
To my teammates and mentors: thank you for your unwavering support.
To KIPP Soul: you will always be a part of me.

And to Spokane: I’m coming with a full heart and a camera ready.
