There are volcanoes that erupt water on Europa & Titan

There are planets that get so hot during the day, it evaporates iron, then rains it back down at night

Here on Earth, water flows, birds sing, life exists. We have trees, cats, flowers, bears, me, and you

Hi I’m Ryan and I’m currently in ATL, where less than 2hrs away, lies the largest collection of cherry blossoms in the world 
 
Well, instead of doing that, I traveled 13 time zones and spent a month watching sakura bloom across the southern half of Japan 
 
Worth it? 
 
I think so 
 
Not even kidding. The largest collection of sakuras in the world is in friggin Macon, GA lol

Happy world glacier day!

Just as the expansive as the land, the skies stretched on forever, interrupted by the staggering Altai mountain range

Each day, as we set out to search for snow leopards and returned after a strenuous day of climbing, this was always the first and last scene we’d see

How good is your eye? Can you see the snow leopard?

We spent weeks climbing this 4000m tall mountain range day after day, chasing after tales and rumours of spotted creatures

With less than ~6,000 of these creatures left worldwide and the warming winters, these beautiful cats get harder and harder to find each month

Sometimes, you don’t get the shot. But for me, being allowed into the territory of these leopards is magic enough. And 50mp goes a long way as well. Full image in the second photo😸
