Hi! I’m Rachael, the face behind Aurora Photography ♥️
If you’re new here, I thought it was about time I properly introduced myself.
I’ve been photographing weddings for over 11 years, and somehow I still get emotional during private vows and father-daughter dances. 🥹 I truly believe the best photos happen when you’re able to be fully present, which is why my goal is to make you feel comfortable enough to forget the camera is even there.
A few random facts about me:
👈 I’m left handed and they don’t make left handed cameras
✈️ I love traveling and will happily use any excuse to photograph in a new city (or country!).
📚 I love to read and always looking for good recommendations. If you have one leave it in the comments!
🎨 I love crafts and doing anything artsy! Any Fridays or weekends I have free, I always have my friends over for a craft or game night.
📸 My camera roll is 90% couples, 10% my everyday life.

While walking through the Boston Commons we spontaneously ask this couple if they’d be down for a quick 5 min mini photoshoot and they said yes! Here re the results!
