Let them get muddy.
Let them splash.
Let them be a little feral.

Because mud between the toes isn’t just messy… it’s childhood doing its job.

It’s sensory play.
It’s immune systems getting stronger.
It’s confidence.
It’s imagination.
It’s learning that the world is something you touch, explore, and jump into with both feet.

Somewhere along the way we decided childhood needed to be clean, quiet, and controlled.

But the truth?
Kids were meant for puddles, dirt under their fingernails, and coming home absolutely wrecked from a day well lived.

So here’s to mud pies, muddy knees, and feral little humans who remind us what freedom actually looks like.

The laundry can wait.
Childhood can’t.

Shooting Hail The Sun was such a dream. Their energy and is unmatched, each show more intense than the last. Being in the photo pit provided a sense of calm that I don’t usually experience during their concerts and allowed me to see it all from a new perspective. Thank you guys so much 🙏🏻 and happy birthday Wake!

This super fun and sometimes messy play focuses on activities that engage your child’s senses, helping them develop language skills and motor skills. It also helps with cognitive growth, fosters social interactions, teaches children how their actions affect the environment around them, and encourages experimentation. Sensory activities play a crucial role in early development and the ladies of the Sunny Lane Co. know just what child needs!

Shooting this show was a dream. It was my second time shooting these guys and my fifth time seeing them. This band and its members are so special and the music they make has been such a huge part of my life for so many years. Seeing them live is an absolutely religious experience and it just gets better every time.

Sweet. Baby. James. The main reason I’ve been totally M.I.A. on here. I mean, how can I be expected to get anything done with this cuteness distracting me every day?! Being pregnant was the most amazing thing and getting to know our baby boy has been even better. He is so silly and sweet and we just love him more every single day.
