I’m Katie Griffin, owner of 12 Gage Photography, and I can honestly say that all of my work is outdoors-inspired. I grew up in the 90’s and was one of the last generations to be gone outside, unsupervised, all day long. The outdoors is where the magic happens and capturing moments where imagination meets intimacy is what drives me. High school seniors, families, maternity portraits and creative se

ssions are my favorites. My portrait sessions are divided by time and the number of images edited. For extended family sessions, a full portrait session is required. I require payment at the time of the portrait session and will have the images delivered via email in 3 weeks. I choose which images are edited based on my eye and my style.

I’m proficient in off camera flash (making those first dance photos really yummy), running as point man to keep the bride’s wishes as top priority, keeping an entire wedding party and extended family entertained and focused during group shots and laying on my belly to get the best angle from sunset to the dance floor. ✅

Starting in November, prices will be increasing. It is time. (And enough of my clients have said I need to raise my prices. I finally heard you!)
I still have a few open dates for fall family photos and those will be under the current pricing listed above. I can’t wait to see all the families who have already booked! I’m working on new outdoor locations for some really pretty
nature backdrops. (My favorite).
And of course, I have Christmas minis booking also. Indoor studio sessions and outdoor at the Christmas tree farm again. 🥰🫶

I do not know this girl personally, but she is a fellow book worm who loves to bake and cozy up with a good book on her front porch. She also prefers the slower paced life that the country offers over the fast-paced city life.

She is 24 years old and a Vet Tech. She found me on TikTok and asked to do this and she’s never done anything like this before so it’s a big deal for her! (I’m so proud of her for doing this!)

Happy Anniversary to these two love birds!
I haven't laughed this hard during a photo session in a minute. These two are always up for an adventure and I love it. We found a magical meadow that was also covered in spiders and Sonja didn't scream once, I was so proud of her. Then we had a mole that kept running up to us during the campfire part of this session and Bart let it eat some of his marshmallow and it was hooked! Ya just never know what's going to happen next.

Amanda and Hank's pajama and pillow fight session was the CUTEST! Hank is older and not able to move around as much as he used to but he ROCKED this session. He kept his eye mask on the whole session too, I couldn't believe it.
Hank gets allllll the love from Amanda and JJ and it shows. Amanda, you are gorgeous and so photogenic. Thanks for your support and for always creating the most FUN sessions!

She did the sweetest promposal to her best friend, Lily and they had a family friend drive them in his brand new sports car. Now that's how you do senior prom!
Cailyn's dresses are always so fun and different and this year's gorgeous black and white dress did not disappoint. Lily wowed us in her hot pink dress and their bouquets were just stunning! Thanks so much for always making my work so much fun! Y'all are stunning and I know you had a blast.

This Clemson senior's session is the perfect example of before and after photos to show how much work I do after each session. Grad photos are a big deal... these seniors have worked so hard and want the best photos to remember this milestone. And there's hundreds of eager seniors at each beautiful location on campus so editing out crowds is a must.
I'm your girl if you need wild hairs, break outs, crowds of people and other photogs edited out.
I may not be the fastest photographer on return times... but this is why. Each photo gets detailed edits from me, not a blanket filter and export.
