Nine years ago, I packed my gear and headed to Stone Harbor in Wisconsin for my very first destination wedding.
I was nervous, excited, and hoping I was ready for the responsibility of documenting such an important day. Thankfully, I wasn’t doing it alone. My hubby was right there beside me for support and to snap a quick photo or two. 😂
What I remember most, though, is the feeling.
Melanie and Jacob’s wedding day was filled with calmness, reflection, love, laughter, and an incredible circle of support. It was the kind of day that reminds you what marriage is really about.
Looking back at these images today, I’m celebrating more than their 9th anniversary. I’m reflecting on how far this journey has taken me. From that first destination wedding in Wisconsin to the many couples and places that followed, I’m still blown away that this is what I get to do.
