Can’t let August go by without a birthday post! 🤍

It’s crazy to think this all started when I was in high school, working for a wedding photographer. (Who became my godfather) I had no idea then where this passion would take me!
I started in the FILM days—you know, when you actually had to know what you were doing because there was NO checking the back of the camera! 😂 Then came digital, and WOW… what a game changer!
I went to college to become a teacher and eventually went to school to teach sign language to children, I taught for 7 years. Then this took off! My love for kids has always been a huge part of me, and photographing children will always be my first love.
About 10 years ago, I started teaching photography—and it has become one of my favorite parts of this career. I have helped many new photographers, what an honor to be looked to for guidance! I’ve made so many deep connections through photography and I’m so grateful!
I’ve photographed literally everything from NASCAR, corporations, families, weddings, births, massive events, seniors, bo***ir, newborns… even death. And now I’m photographing senior sessions for kids I photographed as newborns?! 🤍 WILD!
