I’m Marcie Reif, an Atlanta photographer, educator and speaker, and I’ve been building my photography business since 2012.
I photograph families, newborns, seniors, sports, schools and brands throughout the Atlanta area, both on location and in my West Midtown studio. Creating a great experience for my clients has always been just as important to me as creating beautiful images. I want sessions to feel easy, organized and fun from beginning to end.
Before photography, I was an elementary school teacher for 11 years. I started my photography business while I was still teaching and eventually made the jump to photography full time in 2017.
Teaching has definitely followed me into this career. Today, a huge part of what I do is helping other photographers grow their businesses. I teach workshops and classes, speak at photography conferences around the country, mentor photographers, and host the Roadtrippers Retreat, a photography retreat I created to bring women photographers together to learn, grow their businesses and build a community they can continue to lean on.
I’m also a Tamron Image Master and have had the opportunity to work with some amazing photographers traveling the county.
What started with me simply wanting to take better pictures of my own kids has grown into a career that I never could have planned, and more than a decade later, I still genuinely love what I get to do.
