Shades of Light Photography We don't just take pictures we capture moments. We view our photography as a series of moments, rather than staged shots on a shot list. Contact me today!

Our secret sauce works every time and we absolutely encourage you to experience it for your self! I've been shooting in one form or fashion for as long as I can remember. I see my subjects through a lens of love and my images reflect that connection. With an empathetic eye my work represents the beauty of God that I see in all things. I make it a point to spend time with my clients so I can make a personal connection. As a result, the final product represents a slice of the true essence of my subjects.

I specialize in capturing moments that become lifelong memories. A picture is worth a thousand emotions. Don't leave your memories to chance.

Thank you to every person who has stepped inside, shared a memory, offered encouragement, recognized a face, or simply paused long enough to see the beauty that has always existed on Atlanta’s Westside.

This exhibit may be closing, but I have a feeling the story is just beginning.

Free and open to the public. Bring a friend and help us close out this incredible journey together.

Join me for the Closing Reception on Saturday, July 11, from 4–8 PM.

What began as a photography exhibit became something so much more.

Over the past few weeks, Forever. I Love Atlanta. | Westside Story has been filled with stories, laughter, tears, reunions, new friendships, and conversations that reminded us why community matters. Neighbors recognized themselves. Friends found each other on the walls. Strangers stayed for hours and left connected.

This Saturday, we celebrate all of it.

The gallery will be open all day beginning at 10 AM, so stop by whenever you can. Whether this will be your first visit or your second (or third!), I’d love to share this final day with you.

Today reminded me that success isn’t always measured by how many people come through the door. Sometimes it’s measured by how long they stay.

From toddlers to elders, neighbors to first-time visitors, every conversation became part of the exhibit. Stories were shared. Memories surfaced. New connections were made.

Thank you to everyone who spent time with me today. If you haven’t visited yet, there’s still time. Come slow down, look closely, and maybe share a little of your own Westside story.

Behind the scenes…

What you see on the walls is the final product.

What you don’t see are the weeks of planning, the late nights, the heavy lifting, the problem-solving, the printing, painting, measuring, hanging, rewiring ideas, and countless moments where someone simply said, “I’ve got you.”

This exhibition was never a solo effort.

Thank you to every person who gave their time, talents, encouragement, expertise, resources, and belief in this vision. Whether you helped move furniture, hang artwork, make introductions, sponsor the project, feed guests, promote the exhibit, or simply reminded me to keep going—I am deeply grateful.

Special thanks to everyone who helped transform an empty space into a place where our community could see itself reflected with dignity, beauty, and love.

This is what it looks like when a village comes together.

🎥 Here’s a little behind-the-scenes look at how it all came together.

I invited a group of young neighbors inside, and before long they were pointing at faces and places they recognized.

“I know her!”

“I’ve been there!”

“That’s over by my house!”

Watching them move through the exhibit reminded me why I created Forever I Love Atlanta: Westside Story.

History isn’t just something found in books. It’s in our neighborhoods, our families, our churches, our schools, and in everyday people.

When our young people see themselves reflected on the walls, they begin to understand that their stories matter too.

And that may be the most important work of all.

Family friendly. Free. Come spend some time with us.
