I’m loving getting deep into the Atlanta music scene with Libro Musica, and always so proud to showcase excellence. I was joined here by two other LM photographers for a big night for a powerhouse local, Angela Reign. We were treated to quite the show once again, this time celebrating her birthday. Really do check out her production video for “Obvious”, and her Libro Musica Live! video performances, all available here...

Who hasn't fantasized they could spend their birthday bringing the house down live on stage? Angela Reign gave an it's-no-dream, dreamy, jaw-dropping, three-costume-changes, multi-genre-spanning performance at Hard Rock Cafe - Atlanta, to ring in this next new year of hers.

For (Prince's) The Revolution's reunion concert at Atlanta's Tabernacle Saturday night, I went to just enjoy. No pro shooting, no note taking, no mental load distraction simultaneously writing an article in my head. Just so many feels.

I may not know myself to seek out Gospel music, but shooting CeCe Winans (11 & 12 time Grammy winner as of today!) at Atlanta's Center Stage Theater, and researching for this article, I found myself happily running to His living water, whatever that means (it's from a great Burt Bacharach influenced track on her recent Grammy-winning album "Let Them Fall In Love"). Congrats, CeCe!

For decades, CeCe Winans has been putting out skillfully produced music that challenges even non-believers not to wonder that hers must be a gift from God. She opens her heart, sharing with ease and love her passion for worship, melting for a moment, or for forever, the ice in any soul.

On Tuesday, I could be found in the press photographer's pit at Philips Arena here in Atlanta. Discovered a few more songs for my hip-hop playlist and shook my thing when I wasn't balancing the camera. Published for Libro Musica.

September 1 & 2, those of us at Terminal West in Atlanta were treated to performances that took us way back, feeling very much alive in the present. Rumours ATL: A Fleetwood Mac Tribute began with playing the entire "Rumours" album from start to finish, but that was just a warm up.

The so-much-more-than-capable vocalists and musicians didn't let a single song down, moving from "Rumours", through many more of Mac's seventies hits, ending with some of Stevie Nick's chart toppers. "White Wing Dove" rocked so hard, I was reminded to get Stevie's solo work back into my playlists.

I couldn't help but dance between shots and often scoped my shot through tears -- they were *that* *good*. Look for my recap article published soon on Libro Musica, the live music blog.

You never know where your angels will come from, and what they'll look like. There are some who will be the ones who say no, and there'll be some who say yes in unexpected ways. Thank you to all my angels, and in particular today, those that said yes--go shoot WordCamp Orange County!

I'm not yet at the needed full sponsorship for this Camp and could very much use kind donation to my Coffee & Glass fundraising campaign (http://www.found-art-photography.com/coffee-and-glass-fund…/) but these amazing people and companies have contributed enough for me to make the leap of faith that it's important I take my mission with the WP Photo Project to WCOC. Totally doing it.

Thank you to my WCOC Anchor Sponsor: DreamHost

Thank you to my Program Founding Sponsor: ServerPress.com

Thanks to all of my WCOC photography services Co-Sponsors:
Priscilla Christian's Graphic Services (http://www.priscillac.com)
Crowd Favorite
Chris Lema
Sarah Pressler's CodeBrain Media
Linda Witt-King's Dragonfly Coalition (http://www.communitywellspring.com)
Adam Silver's TheConciergeWP
..and all of you who have donated to my Coffee & Glass campaign (featuring the incredible donation plugin Give), which for me bridges the gaps and reminds me to keep.going.

I'm flooded with gratitude today, and pride, and motivation to maintain my grit and keep going. I'm photo wrangling-like mad, and prepping to start my WordCamp Asheville and WordCamp Europe Twitter speaker parades tonight... while having just in the knick of time pulled together sponsorship to take the WP Photo Project to WordCamp Orange County this weekend!

WCEU sponsorship too came together in the eleventh hour by the grace of some absolutely incredible supporters of the WP Photo Project. I've delayed my formal acknowledgement due to a delay on the logo design from one of my sponsors -- for a brand new entity in the WordPress space, my mother, so for me very worth the wait. She has ventured into WordPress for the first time to support a program dear to her heart in her local community, Costa Mesa, California. She is exemplifying precisely what I love about the advantage to even the smallest of startups that is WordPress' democratization of publishing, and I'm honored to be a tactical resource for her as well as a beneficiary of her sponsorship.

I'd like to thank first of all my WCEU photo services Anchor Sponsors, without you I could not do this:
SiteGround, a WPPP 4-time sponsor
WP Engine, a WPPP 1st time sponsor
WPMU DEV, a WPPP 1st time sponsor

Thank you endlessly to my Program Founding Sponsor:
ServerPress.com

Thank you to all of my WCEU photo services Co-Sponsors:
Dragonfly Coalition, soon to be a 2-time sponsor
Crowd Favorite, soon to be a 3-time sponsor

For WordCamp Asheville, my WPPhotoProject.com sponsor set is especially meaningful to me. The podcast & blogging team I'm new to, The WP Crowd, is the Anchor Sponsor. Without their companionship, tough love, and bottomless well of therapeutic humor, I would not have been able to continue this far with the project.

The team at my Program Founding Sponsor, ServerPress.com, also individually light up my life and continue to remind me that what I do for the WordPress Community is desired and valuable.

And then there's my Co-Sponsors. These too are my friends, putting their money where their mouthes are, because they know perhaps better than anyone what I put into this project, and what each Camp I shoot stands to get out of my being there.

Thank you, to all of The WP Crowd, to Marc, and Adam, and Gregg, to Shelly Peacock of The Spinbird Group, to Kate Newbill of 2Fish Web LLC, to Josh Po***ck of CalderaWP, to Chris Flannagan of WhoIsChris.com, and to Drew Jaynes...

Drew, who lent me his camera for much of last year because he believes so strongly in what I'm doing. Drew, who honors me by honoring Kim Parsell with his sponsorship. Kim, who was well-loved. Kim, another photographer in the WordPress space, one who has passed.

This is a special Camp for me, for so many reasons. So glad to be here and aiming to do you proud.

This tee is my absolute favorite first because of the message, but close second because it is so soft and comfortable and durable and flattering. Okay, so that's 2nd, 3rd, 4th, & 5th.

It is designed and produced by my friend, local Atlanta artist Jennifer DeSantis, a.k.a. LadyJennD. This tee in three colors and several styles and a handful of sizes will also be for sale again on Etsy within the next week and I'll provide the link to that here.
