During this family's session I realized I had the same quilt with me as I did in a picture from 10 years ago (perhaps memorable because this is my sister's family, and in the earlier photo they were at an age when I could sneak in picking out clothes for them) - so we tried to recreate it! But we were too cold to stop and dig up the exact picture for reference. Considering - not too bad from memory.
Ages 4 and 14.

These girls were so goofy during our session! I had to negotiate - dedicated silly photos for just a few smiles. Little sister even maintained a monster face while being swung in the air - that's some real dedication. But looking back at these the liveliness is so much fun - I had trouble sticking to just 5 for a preview.

We moved up our original mini-session times by an hour this day but we're still fighting time against growing darkness and rain - and this is the brave, last time slot family. We made it!

A preview with this gorgeous family.
We felt a little hurried during this session because it took us a while to figure out - while on the phone with one another as the mini was supposed to start - that we were in two different locations. I thought they were in their car because it had started raining, but they were out walking in the rain down the street looking for me. 😬 (We had a last minute switch of locations this day.)
Anyway - they did great and looked great, as always!
