Happy Friday!!

I wanted this video to be out by Juneteenth, but I also wanted to make sure I told this story the right way.

Being a Black photographer means capturing the beauty, resilience, and fullness of our people and our community! I know we’re often told to niche down, but I’m not narrowing down because our story is vast. From businesses and graduations, to weddings, family, milestones, festivals and everyday moments, our lives deserve to be documented in all of their fullness, and I’m so glad that I’m finally coming to terms with the kind of artist I am instead of trying to follow what’s always shifting as a trend.
