I am very excited to be part of this collaboration. As someone who is invisibly disabled, it's important to me to help with building this community. About this design (From the DCL website):

We need to build disability community power to win big things. That means:

Representative disability leadership, reflecting our values, is embedded everywhere. From government to media, and social movements to business, and entertainment to the disability community.

Our rising and established leaders and organizations are well-resourced for growth and inclusion, and are responsive to the people they serve because they have ongoing, sustainable, community-centric funding from diverse sources.

Cross-movement solidarity where the principles of Disability Justice are embedded in every social justice movement, and all disability organizing and advocacy is grounded in, and working for, liberation for all — especially for those most negatively impacted by the state and institutions.

We don’t just need disabled leadership everywhere — we need to organize so we have disabled folks who reflect our values of seeking liberation for all disabled people.

For , check out this animated graphic to Re-elect Senator Reverend Raphael Warnock. In addition to designing and producing this, I created the original illustrations. They were originally sketched in pencil, and then imported and refined in digital format. This fun project was done for Free and Fair Democracy PAC in 2022.

Here are some ways to support disabled Trans folks in your community:
* Donate to disabled Trans-led organizations.
* Challenge ableism in q***r spaces and transphobia in disability spaces.
* Use correct names and pronouns, and meet access needs.
These are some great disabled and Trans led projects:
* Disability Project at the Trans Law Center (.tlc)
* TransFormGender Collective ()
* Autistic People of Color Fund ()
* Trans Empowerment Project ()
* QueerTrans Project ()
* Disability Culture Lab

Love disabled Trans folks out loud. Times are tough, and quiet support isn't enough. This Administration is attacking our disabled Trans siblings, and we need to do the work of supporting each other through direct mutual aid and platforming disabled Trans community members. Meet the artists for our Summer 2026 Streetwear Drop, We’re Still Here: Fashion Against Fascism!

Jen D. Rafanan (she/her) is a disabled artist, designer, photographer, and principal of progressive creative boutique, JDR-Creative. She created the design for “Love Disabled Trans Folks Out Loud” (Megaphone). As an invisibly disabled culture worker, she loves to merge her creative talents with her passion for advocacy at both the state and national level.

Look what arrived!! A couple of the latest JDR-Creative designs from the Disability Culture Lab We’re Still Here: Fashion Against Fascism Summer 2026 Collection!!

Disability Culture Lab’s new streetwear drop is a direct response to increasing attacks on multi-marginalized disabled folks and the disabled community at large. This collection is about community, resistance, and joy in the face of these attacks.
