I am originally from Chicago, Illinois; born on the south side and raised in the west suburbs. I currently reside in Columbia, South Carolina with my wife of four years Larialmy. I am the proud father of a very bright and talented six year old son named Jordan. I have been passionate about photography for as long as I can remember, and I picked up my first camera in 2003 as a student at Columbia C
ollege-Chicago. My stent there was short lived due to being blessed with the opportunity to sing with the award winning Benedict College Gospel Choir in 2004. I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communications with a concentration in Broadcasting, and throughout my four year tenure there, I became a proud and active member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated where I served as Chapter Historian for two years. Upon graduation, I began freelance work throughout the Columbia Metropolitan area specializing in event and portrait photography, and while working freelance, I had the opportunity to take headshots for comedians at the Comedy House Theatre. This opportunity brought out my unrenowned gift of comedy, yes; I’ve got jokes (LOL)! I then continued my education at the Art Institute of Charlotte where I received my certification in Digital Imaging and Photography. To me, photography is not just a hobby. I feel that I have been blessed to see the world differently, through pieces of finely crafted optical glass, capturing life’s most precious moment’s one exposure at a time.
