A few scenes were filmed at the Kensington MARTA Station. Right outside the station, you’ll find a bright mural, soccer pitch, a community garden, and a vibrant painted crosswalk that brings color and energy to the space.

We had a wonderful time at Georgia Film Day at the Capitol, where Craig Miller was honored for his lasting contributions to Georgia’s film industry.

So many careers in this industry started because Craig believed in someone before anyone else did. He loved people. He loved storytelling. He loved his family. And he loved the great state of Georgia.

Thank you to Governor Brian Kemp, Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, Representative Long Tran, Senator Donzella James, Darius Evans, Beth Moore, Brennen Dicker, Kelsey Moore, the Georgia Production Partnership, the Georgia Screen Entertainment Coalition, and everyone who helped make the day possible.

This film tells a story rooted in DeKalb County and Atlanta’s Somali community, and it means a lot to share it with the city that helped shape it.
