RACE FANS — MICHIGAN RACETRACKS NEED YOUR SUPPORT!

Racing has been part of Michigan communities for generations. Racetracks provide family entertainment, support local businesses, create jobs, and bring thousands of people together through a sport we all love.

Now we have an opportunity to help protect the future of racing in Michigan.

The Right to Race legislation (SB 773 and HB 5652) is designed to protect established racetracks from certain nuisance lawsuits involving surrounding development that came after the tracks were already operating.

This legislation is important not only to racetrack owners and drivers, but also to the fans, employees, sponsors, vendors, and local businesses that depend on our sport.

WE NEED YOUR HELP!

Please respectfully contact Senator Jeremy Moss and ask him to help advance Michigan's Right to Race legislation before the end of 2026.

🏁📸 RACE FANS, I HAVE A QUESTION FOR YOU! 📸🏁

Now that racing season is over, what would you like to see from me during the off-season?!

Throwbacks? My favorite shots of the season? Behind-the-scenes chaos? Photography tips? The occasional photo that makes you wonder how I haven't been run over yet? 😂

I'm open to ideas!

I also want to explain something because I don't think everyone realizes how my photography works.

I'm incredibly fortunate to be the official track photographer for both Owosso Speedway and Tri-City Motor Speedway, and I absolutely LOVE working with both tracks! ❤️

When I'm at the track, I'm working FOR the track. That means the thousands of images I capture are delivered to them. They're not necessarily mine to flood my personal page with.

That's why you'll usually only see an image or two posted at a time, even though I've photographed THOUSANDS over a race weekend. Trust me, my camera gets a workout! 😂

On my off days, I also take on photography work for individual drivers, teams, and others, so there's definitely more to what I do than what you see posted here.

But now that the engines are quiet and I'm not spending my Fridays eating dirt at Tri-City and my Saturdays dodging rubber and race cars at Owosso...

📸🏁 I think this might officially be the BEST racing photo I've ever taken!

And the best part? It's practically straight out of camera! 😍🔥

After thousands upon thousands of race photos, every once in a while I capture one that makes me stop editing and just stare at my screen.

This is one of those shots!

Sometimes everything just comes together perfectly. The timing, the lighting, the action, and being in exactly the right spot at exactly the right second.

I’ll take “things I never thought I’d get paid to photograph” for $400, Bob. 😂📸

Destruction Night is always one of my favorite nights behind the camera because there is SO much happening. So many directions to look, so many things flying, crashing, jumping, spinning… you genuinely never know what I’m going to catch.

But the bus jump? 🚌💨 Owosso Speedway

That one will ALWAYS be a favorite.

There’s just something about standing there with a camera thinking, “Yep… they’re about to launch a BUS through the air, and this is somehow my job.” 😂

Never a dull night at the racetrack. 🏁📸
