Slight reminder, I do in fact enjoy having holiday weekends off too. 😂

I love racing, I love photography, I love the chaos... but when the schedule magically gives me a weekend where I’m not living at a racetrack, I’m going to take it.

And this one lined up perfectly with my best friend’s bachelorette weekend, so instead of race cars, camera bags and track food, it was margaritas, decorations and celebrating her. 😂💕

Love what I do, but also very much loved this little break in the racing chaos.

I just stepped off the track for the last time this season, and I’m not going to lie, this one feels a little emotional.

Race season goes by so fast. One minute we’re kicking things off, and the next I’m standing here realizing there won’t be another Friday night at Tri City Motor Speedway for a while.

I absolutely love what I do. I love the noise, the dirt, the late nights, the people, the celebrations, and getting to freeze all of those moments through my camera. There are so many memories from this season that I know I’ll be reliving all winter long.

The off season means I’ll finally have time to slow down, flip back through thousands of images, post some of my favorites, revisit moments I may have rushed past during the craziness of race season, and probably find a few photos I completely forgot about.

Tonight was bittersweet. I’m so proud of everyone who raced, worked, cheered, supported, and made this season what it was.

I’m definitely not ready to say goodbye to race season, but I’m grateful I get to keep reliving it one photo at a time. 🏁📸

It’s crazy. I’m sitting here between the heats and the features, looking around, and I’m genuinely sad knowing this is our last race night of the season at Tri City Motor Speedway

I’m so excited to see our champions crowned tonight, and I’m honestly amazed by how awesome everyone has done this season. So many races, so many memories, so many photos, and somehow it all went by way too fast.

I already know I’ll be spending the off season reliving all of it through the thousands of pictures I’ve taken this year.

I just cannot believe tonight is our last night at Tri-City Motor Speedway. I’m not ready for race season to be over. 🏁📸

Starting the day with the drive to the West side of the state as my daughter drives away to live her college life. We'll be getting her settled into her dorm, and then I'll be out at tricity tonight, where the street stocks race for Five thousand if this mama looks a little emotional, just know that I am.
