A little note on protecting privacy 💌
With all of the recent conversations surrounding AI and children, I wanted to take a minute to share a little more about how I approach sharing photos of your little ones.
When you book a session with me, I send over a questionnaire that helps me get to know your family a little better and understand what’s important to you. One of the things I ask is how comfortable you are with me sharing your images online.
And truly, there is no right or wrong answer.
Some families are completely comfortable with me sharing their babies and kids, some would rather keep their photos off the internet altogether, and some are somewhere in the middle. Whatever you choose, I will always respect it.
I will never share your child’s face without your explicit permission. Your family’s photos belong to you, and while I’m so grateful when you allow me to share the work we create together, I never want you to feel like you have to.
At the end of the day, these photos are memories for your family first. They’re not content for my business, and your comfort will always matter more to me than having something to post.
So if you’ve ever wondered about my approach to privacy, or you have questions about how I handle your images, please know you can always ask. I’m more than happy to chat about it. 🤍
Xoxo,
Emma
