We make plans for our lives like we already know how the story is supposed to go.

The timing. The milestones. The order of everything.

And then sometimes, motherhood enters the story and suddenly the plan looks nothing like the one we made for ourselves.

What once felt unexpected becomes the thing you couldn’t imagine your life without. The detour becomes the destination. And somehow, the life you didn’t plan ends up being ten times more beautiful than anything you could’ve planned yourself.

Maybe that’s because God was never working from our blueprint. 🤍

“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord. “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways.” — Isaiah 55:8–9

And now, a whole new chapter begins… she’s becoming a girl mom. 🎀
