so thankful to witness a day so full of love & celebration for Tamera & Michael. I may never be over this day, so prepare to see lots of it. 🥹 photos that evoke motion will mean so much more decades or generations down the road than the newest trend. I had the pleasure of looking through my grandparents wedding album recently for their anniversary and there was one photo they purposefully selected to be printed in their album, one with some eyes closed, but what stood out to me was the joy and happiness you could tell they were all feeling in that moment. that was what mattered to them. hire the photographer that looks around the room and captures the way you felt, the emotions being experienced, and the parts of the day you’ll want to go back to a million times over. ❤️

Morgan & Mike’s engagement session in Ellijay where they will get married this fall was my absolute favorite!! They invited me in to capture their morning together at the cabin they spent their engagement weekend at. Coffee, mimosas, dancing in the kitchen, puppy snuggles, and enjoying the fresh mountain air. ☕️
We enjoyed chatting about all the things that make these mountains welcome you in like a big hug. They even gifted me a fav bottle of w**e from the w**ery they got engaged at last year. 🥹❤️

Kara & Hunter are just so easy to be around and their smiles are contagious.

From the moment I got there, everything felt calm in a really natural way; not staged or overly perfect, just two people genuinely happy to be marrying each other and fully present with everyone around them.

The way they love each other is really what stands out. It’s steady and unforced, but also so obvious in the little moments. When they look at each other, it honestly feels like everything else fades out for a second, like the whole room keeps moving, but they’re just locked into each other in a way that makes you pause.

What I kept noticing throughout the day was how relaxed everything felt because of them. People weren’t trying too hard, nothing felt rushed, and there was this constant thread of warmth running through the entire wedding.

Going through their photos, I keep coming back to that feeling more than anything else. Not just how it looked, but how it felt to be there with them in it.

I’m really grateful and oh SO honored I got to document it as it unfolded. ❤️
