I had the incredible opportunity of going out to produce media this last weekend at Lost Lake and I couldn't have predicted how amazing the show was.
I got there as early as possible - coming from an AS WE RISE recording session π₯ and showed up while A Vintage Future was on. They're always a steampunkmetal good time. I was particularly bummed I missed NVR ENDVR as they've been on my list to catch. I'll have to make that happen. π
Origami Summer was really incredible and shocked me at how diverse their catalog was. Just a ton of get dynamics and a lot of big sounds. π
When Blood Across The Sky took the stage all hell broke loose. Their energy combined with a great audience made a lot of us feel entranced in the moment. It was a brutal assault that harkened to some of my favorite bands that broke all the social media rules and made me want to dig into heavier music. This vibe was perforated perfectly with lines you'd hear from Tom Delonge - a nice meld of metalcore and punk rock vibes.
The great showpeople from Ghost In Stereo finished out the night, somehow ramping the energy up to their favor.
I can't wait to share more from the set from Blood Across The Sky. The images are emotive and crazy, just like the set I was so lucky to witness.
More on this night, coming shortly.
