Aurora defense, this one's for you! Greenmen's biggest hits against the Tallmadge Blue Devils. I put as many different players in this one as I could! # 20, 53, 9, 2, 8, and 3, in that order, plus some others with # 2.

Check out #8 Mathew Huth and # 3 Luke Hilditch! In my last video we saw them go off on offense, but these two are double threats. Huth tackles a receiver to get a stop on 3rd and long. You're going to want to turn up the volume and rewind for both of their plays too, you can hear just how hard these guys hit!

Aurora Greenmen full highlights against Tallmadge: The 2 Greenmen touchdowns come from QB # 8 Mathew Huth and and receiver # 3 Luke Hilditch. Plenty of passing highlights from this duo too, 87 out of Huth's 169 passing yards came from Hilditch. Plus, check out some great tackles from # 53 Jacob Miller and # 9 Ryan Ziegler!

Despite both big passes and runs out of QB Huth, the Tallmadge Blue Devils came out on top 24-14.

Check out rushing highlights from Aurora's QB # 8 Mathew Huth! Huth scored one of 2 Greenmen touchdowns in week 3, running up the middle and getting past 1, 2, 3 Blue Devil defenders to find the endzone!

The Greenmen would however come up short, Tallmadge wins this matchup after 12 straight years of Aurora wins.

Full highlights: The Tallmadge Blue Devils put an end to 12 straight years of losses at the hands of the Aurora Greenmen in a 24-14 victory in week 3. We have two TDs from # 6 Brenden Conley - one from 60+ yards and another right after intercepting the ball from the Greenmen. # 2 Angelo Gotto scores the tie-breaking TD in the 4th quarter to claw the lead back, and kicker # 25 Ben Becur makes a 29-yard field goal to put the Blue Devils in the lead by two scores with only 2:21 left to play.

And don't forget the defense! With 54 seconds left: Watch # 10 James Robinson sack the QB, force a fumble, # 35 Daron Clark swoops in to recover it and ends any hope of an Aurora comeback.

Windham's # 4 Dejuan Ramsey, the team's only senior, catches a pass from # 1 Bryan Smithberger and takes it down field for a 65 yard touchdown. Ramsey scored 3 touchdowns and had a total of 127 rushing and receiving yards in the Bomber's landslide 54-20 victory against the Stryker Panthers.

SCORE IN FIRST 17 SECONDS: Tallmadge wouldn't have been able to pull off last night's upset over Aurora without # 6 Brenden Conley! First snap of the game, Conley goes airborn to make a catch centerfield, leaves the Greenmen D in the dust to score the TD.

In the final 62 seconds of the 2nd quarter, he intercepts the ball around the 45, runs it to the Greenmen 10 yard line, and finishes the job himself on 2nd down, putting the Blue Devils up 14-7 at halftime.

That early-game momentum carried Tallmadge to their first-ever victory against Aurora.

Tallmadge's # 2 Angelo Gotto rushes for a 40+ yard TD that would be the beginning of the end for the Aurora Greenmen, putting the Blue Devils in the lead 21-14. After a successful field goal later in the quarter, Tallmadge beats the Greenmen 24-14, their first victory against this opponent in program history.

Before today, the two teams played 12 games (2011, 2015-2025, per ohhsfbdb.net), and Aurora won all of them. But no streak can last forever. Congratulations Blue Devils! Stick with me to see the rest of the big plays from this big win!
