Just a reminder that I’ll officially be starting my maternity leave in June and it will be an extended one! Becoming a mom has been a dream of mine and I’m really looking forward to fully stepping into this next season of life 👶🏻 I truly don’t know what the future will look like when it comes to photography or when I’ll be back.. right now I’m following what feels right for me and my family. I may open up random sessions here and there down the road, but as of now I’m not sure what that will look like yet!

That said, I originally planned to continue booking sessions through the end of May but pregnancy has been more physically challenging lately, so I’ve decided I’ll only be taking a handful of additional sessions (family, maternity, newborn) between now and then. I wanted to share in case you were hoping to get one more session in with me 🤍

I am still offering my discounted Mommy & Me minis, and I would love to see some of you before I step away!

It’s bittersweet knowing I’ll be taking a long break from a job I’ve loved so much and the amazing clients I’ve had along the way, but I’m SO excited to step into my next job of motherhood 🌷

Hi, I’m Hayley 👋🏻 for the new faces around here, I’ve been a wedding photographer for the last 12ish years who’s had the absolute best time documenting love stories for so many incredible couples!

But! Things are shifting a bit in my business. After years of “I Do’s” I’m now turning my heart and camera toward what comes next: growing families, sweet newborns, and all the magical family moments 🫶🏻 My husband and I are hoping to grow our own family soon (🤞🏻), which means I’ll be taking a break from weddings starting in 2026 🥹

Moving forward, I’ll be focusing more on maternity, newborn, and family sessions. You’ll still see me sharing some gorgeous weddings this year and some from last year (they deserve all the love!), but you’ll also notice a lot more baby bumps, sweet families, and newborn snuggles in the mix. As much as I’ll miss weddings, this shift feels right for where I’m at and where life is headed—and I’m so excited for it. If you’ve already been part of this next chapter—thank you. Truly💫

I’ll be wrapping up my final weddings this year (cue all the feels 😭), and while I won’t be taking on new wedding bookings in 2026, I’ll still be second shooting and associate shooting weddings through the rest of this year—so if you’re a fellow photographer looking for help, feel free to reach out!

Thank you for all the love and support over the years. I’ve been so lucky to work with the most AMAZING couples and vendors, and I’ll always be grateful for the trust they placed in me. After 8 years living in Texas, I can’t believe I’m officially back in Illinois! Last week I said goodbye to Houston 👋🏻🪻it’s been so very bittersweet!

I’ve been busy unpacking the house, editing, spending time with family and friends here, preparing for my upcoming weddings.. so many things! This summer is going to be jam packed but I’m excited ☀️ Nick will be in Texas a little longer for work so I’ll be back to visit soon enough! Can’t wait till he’s back with me in IL- that’s when this move will feel real.

Texas has treated us so well over the last 8 years and I’m going to miss it so much ❤️ but it’s not really the place I’ll miss- it’s all the people. All our friends we’ve made over the years and all the amazing photographers who I loved working with 🫶🏻 leaving all of them has been the hardest part of moving! Happy and sad at the same time.

You guys know who you are- miss you already and love you so much 🥹 here’s to the next chapter in our life back in the Midwest 🎉🍕🏙️🌽🎡

Did you know? Beyond capturing magical wedding moments, I also photograph family, maternity, and newborn-lifestyle sessions too! 👶🏻🤍 While I've mainly showcased weddings and couples on my feed, this year I want to dive more into capturing life after the “I Do” 🥰 get ready to see more of these sweet moments on my Instagram!

Exciting news too—starting in June, I'll be back in Illinois permanently!! Which means I'll finally have the opportunity to schedule more of those precious family and lifestyle sessions throughout the year, in addition to all my wedding work! 🥳 Can’t wait to reconnect with familiar faces but also meet new ones too 📸

I’m SO excited to share this news with you all…

WE ARE MOVING!!!
back to the Midwest ✈️🌃🌽❄️🥹

Nick and I are officially moving back to Illinois this summer 🎉 we’ve been trying to leave Texas for the last 4 years and it’s actually happening! It feels surreal!! Nick was finally able to transfer to the Chicago ATC center 🙌🏻

Many of you know I’ve never stopped working in Chicago this whole time while living in TX so it’ll be nice not having to be on an airplane every month 😂 both our families are in IL so we knew this was the best choice for us. We can’t wait to be back with everyone!

To my Midwest clients- I’m ready to be back with you all for good ☺️ thank you for keeping my business alive in IL this whole time!!

Now it’s time to start prepping for this move! It will be so bittersweet. We will miss all our friends here and I’ll miss all my wonderful photographer friends I’ve met and worked with 🫶🏻 it’s been a fun 8 years of living in HTX but we are so ready for this next chapter of our life 🤍🤍🤍

Most memorable year award goes to.. 2022✨

This year has personally been one of my favorite years ever! I had lots of weddings (a few amazing destination weddings too), bought a house, went to a ton of concerts, lived my best life in Tree Hill, traveled across the world for the first time to Thailand! Lots of little things in between too ☺️ here’s to hoping 2023 is even better!

As for where I’m located.. we still live in Houston TX! We know we will for sure be here through 2023 so here’s to hoping 2024 will be the year we finally move 🤞🏻 I’ll keep everyone updated!

And of course a huge thank you again to all my couples and everyone who has supported my business! You guys are the real MVP 🏆
