52Frames Unexplored challenge. I visited the small town of Deer Trail on Colorado’s eastern plains. Deer Trail is the site of the first ever rodeo in July 1869. According the to the 2020 census, the population was 1,068. It’s a little town but rich in Colorado history.

52Frames Week 3 Challenge - Black and White. Black and white photography has been one of my favorite genres since I was 16 and saw Ansel Adams' Yosemite prints. I've been trying to emulate that looks for over half my life, haha! I shot these on a photo drive around Denver.

52Frames Week 2 Challenge - Try a New Technique. The jigsaw puzzle effect in Photoshop looked really interesting. Inspired by an image I'd seen in the 52F group, I decided to try a spooking missing piece puzzle. I also decided, since it's my photo, I can change my eye color if I want too, haha! So not only am I scary underneath, I have green eyes when the moon is full, HAHA!

The 52Frames challenge this week is triangular composition. Triangular composition is about balanced elements, converging leading lines and looking for triangles in unexpected places. The 2 windmills out at 17 Mile House provided ample subject matter and I ended up with a windmill series. 😀
