Some places just take your breath away, no matter how many times you visit. Grand Teton National Park is definitely one of them.

And I'm excited to be heading back in fall 2027 to co-lead a photography workshop with Matt Suess Photo! Here are a couple of favorites from previous visits, and I can't wait to experience this incredible place again.

If you'd like to join us, you can find all the workshop details below.

Well, Colorado certainly didn't disappoint! 🍁

Matt Suess Photo and I spent some time exploring and photographing the fall colors, and we found some incredible scenes. I'm starting to work through my captures now. Here are a few that caught my eye!

We're also working on putting together a photography workshop here next fall! Details aren't finalized yet, but if you'd like to be among the first to hear about it, just send me a DM. 🍁

This photo is from last week at sunrise when the light was truly stunning glowing in the early morning fog. Photographed with my OM System OM-1 Mark II camera and the M.Zuiko 50-200mm f2.8 PRO lens.

Here’s a shot in the San Juan Mountains of Colorado from last week using a technique called ICM, Intentional Camera Movement, where you use a slower shutter speed and intentionally move the camera during the exposure.

This is one of the creative techniques we will be studying during an upcoming photo workshop here next year with myself and Jim Nix Photography, September 30 - October 4, 2027.

Registration will open very soon - get on the list to be the first to register - details in the comments.

This was photographed with my OM System OM-3 camera and the M.Zuiko 50-200mm f2.8 PRO lens. Camera settings were 0.6s at f18 at ISO 200 using a 6-stop solid ND filter from NiSi Filters USA. Processing in DxO PureRAW, Lightroom Classic, Luminar, and NIK Color Efex.

Sometimes a preset is exactly what I need to get an edit started. But I almost never stop there.

In my latest video, I take two very different photos - a landscape and a cityscape - and show you how I build a complete black & white edit in Luminar, from the initial preset through contrast, light, masking, dodge & burn and the final touches.

The preset gets me started. The rest of the edit makes it mine.
