Full walkthrough of Scarlet Lady in 2025, after her glow up. I hadn't been on her in a year and there's a lot that changed.
The single best navigation tip I can give you: go to MID. There are dead areas on this ship you can't walk through, but from the middle you can always find your way. Take the mid elevators or stairs, then go where you need to go.
Deck 7, where you'll spend the most time:
* The roundabout, Shore Things desk, the vinyl wall, and Draft House, which is the beer-forward bar most people walk right past.
* Lick Me Till Ice Cream with a rotating daily flavor, and the pizza place, open 2pm to 2am. I set an Apple Watch alarm before 2am because I lose track of time in the Manor. White truffle and egg is my pick, and you can customize.
* Grounds Club for premium coffee, roughly $4 to $6, payable with Bar Tab or Sailor Loot.
* Social Club: games, trivia, karaoke, hot dogs, wings, alcoholic floats, and the candy bar (Red Vines, I'm from California, this matters). Plus the arcade, which is FREE and open 24 hours. Miss Pac-Man and I have unfinished business.
* Loose Cannon, usually one of the quieter bars, with the octopus shots and shared punch bowls.
* The Dock House and the Dock. Grilled shrimp is my favorite thing there, and please note: portions are unlimited. People message me saying they left hungry, and I ask why they didn't order five more. They say they thought they could only have one. Just ask.
* Juice Sea, tucked between the Dock House and the Dock, and genuinely hard to find.
* Sip, my favorite bar, with High Tea on sea days. Around $19, or $35 with MoΓ«t, which is good value since MoΓ«t alone is $25.
* The Wake. Check in on 7, dine on 6. New on Scarlet: that dead corner where the seafood towers used to sit is now a proper w**e bar, and it's lovely.
* The Groupy karaoke rooms, free, sign up on the sheet inside.
Deck 6: the Red Room (enter on 6 for most shows), the casino with expanded slot machines, and the Manor through the casino, including the famous lit hallway. Tip most people miss: there's an UPSTAIRS Manor space, and it's great for club nights and comedy. On the Rocks at the bottom of the roundabout is whiskey-forward and where Scarlet Night kicks off at 9pm. Then High Street: Squid Ink tattoo parlour (yes, you can use Sailor Loot), B***y Free, MAC, Stubble and Groom, and Dry Dock for blowouts, which you should book in advance for Scarlet Night. Extra Virgin and Test Kitchen are on opposite sides and both only reachable through High Street.
Deck 5: Sailor Services, and Pink Agave is entered THROUGH Sailor Services, which throws everyone. Pink Agave After Dark runs about 9:30 to 11 with a DJ. The spa is here too. And Razzle Dazzle is now LUCKY LOTUS, Scarlet only, much more muted and elevated. Fun fact: it exists because the Asian Night Market at Sea during the Eat and Drink Festival was such a hit.
Two dining tips worth stealing: order half portions of pasta at Extra Virgin so you can try four instead of one. And book Test Kitchen early in your sailing AND again at the end, because they change the menu partway through.
The Scarlet changes overall: Lucky Lotus, more slot machines, the Den turned into crew-only space, the w**e bar at The Wake, an elevated Grounds Club 2 in the galley, and different art. Everything else is the same layout as the other lady ships. I walked this ship for the first time in a year and never once got lost.
