Dream Chaser’s first flight will be a free-flyer, demonstration mission for , with first-flight readiness in 2026.

I photographed it as it was preparing for EMI testing at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center. I was able to climb up to the catwalk for this shot. 🫣

The Sagrada Familia is a breathtaking basilica located in Barcelona. Designed by Antoni Gaudí, it blends modernist architecture with nature-inspired forms and religious symbolism, showcasing Gaudí’s unique vision.

Construction began in 1882 and, incredibly, is still ongoing, with completion expected in the near future.

Go Vulcan Centaur. 🚀

ULA has successfully launched the second test flight of its Vulcan Centaur rocket, known as Cert-2, from Space Launch Complex-41 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.

This mission is a significant milestone in certifying the rocket for future U.S. Space Force missions. The launch occurred at 7:25 a.m. EDT on Friday, Oct. 4.

About 47 seconds into flight, one of Vulcan’s SRBs experienced an anomaly. Despite the small anomaly Vulcan Centaur completed its second flight.

With a successful Cert-2 mission, will be poised to launch two Space Force missions.

I got to photograph one of the loudest rock concerts...for a spacecraft. 🎸👇

Sierra Space’s Shooting Star cargo module successfully completed acoustic testing at 's Kennedy Space Center, withstanding acoustic levels greater than 140 dB for several minutes at a time, proving its flight worthiness.

The test, was the first of its kind to be conducted inside the Space Systems Processing Facility (SSPF) and replicated the intense acoustic stresses Shooting Star will need to withstand during a Vulcan Centaur rocket launch to the International Space Station.

During Shooting Star's acoustic test, the team placed stacks of purpose-built loudspeakers – each one a highly-engineered acoustic device – in 21-ft-tall columns surrounding the spacecraft. Over a four-day period, test engineers blasted the spacecraft with a controlled sound field that was 10,000x higher intensity than the volume of a typical rock concert, recreating the sonic intensity of a launch. A total of 48 acoustic devices were used during testing.
