Tasha‘s strength and resilience is so inspiring! Please come out to the home opener and support the Outlaws!
Did you know April is LImb Loss Awareness month? This month honors the millions of people living with limb loss and limb difference, celebrating resilience and raising awareness. This carries a special place in the Austin Outlaw family this season.
In football, toughness is expected- but true courage is forged far beyond the field. Our very own #38, Tasha LaViola, played with the Outlaws for seven seasons up until 2017 when a brutal car wreck changed her life. Over the past nine years, LaViola underwent a total of 13 surgeries to fix her damaged leg, which ultimately led to the decision to amputate in 2024. This year she is back on the Outlaws roster as a long-snapper, chasing her same dreams once again. We’re overjoyed to celebrate LaViola’s strength and her comeback by inviting all who have experienced limb loss to our Home Game Opener, free of charge.
