2024 Recap✨
I was scared to look back and do a recap since 2024 was a bit of a rough year, but it reminded me of all the good that happened. Professionally, I had to pull back to re-prioritize my mental and physical health this year, which has been a struggle. But despite that, I’m proud of the progress I’ve made, I’m very grateful for everyone I’ve worked with this past year and super excited for all my 2025 projects. I seriously can’t thank my closest friends enough for all the ways they’ve supported me this year. Here’s to a healthier and happier 2025.

Samantha Eleni Photography is a cinematic, storytelling portrait and wedding photography based on Austin, Texas and New York City. She incorporates a documentary approach with candids and prompts couples to capture portraits that came straight from a romance movie.

Katy & Lauren ~ Everything about this proposal was intentional for Katy. It was super important to Katy to have a bunch of their loved ones around to celebrate them after Lauren said yes (with lots of tears) and have a few photos with them. It was such a sweet moment seeing them all huddled around the corner FILLED with excitement waiting for the moment to come around the bush and cheer. All the love, joy and support for the newly engaged was so genuinely heartwarming for me to witness. Not having that overwhelming support for a couple and their journey isn’t always a negative sign but having it is ALWAYS a good sign. Congratulations Katy and Lauren, I’ve absolutely loved working with you and I can’t wait to finish the rest of the images!

Riley + Charlize
The first surprise proposal I’ve captured. a young couple around my age, high school sweethearts. The love I saw between them when Riley got down on one knee touched my heart and made me tear up. When I asked them how long they’ve been together, Riley said “3 years and 2 months.” The type of love where you count every month even when it’s been years. This photoshoot will always have a special place in my heart.

Who agrees with me that Axela should start modeling? I’ve been trying to convince her but she doesn’t agree. Comment below if you think Axela is model worthy. This is the first time she modeled for me back in January, after this we went to the first meetup and I can’t wait to share those pictures!

I can’t wait to be back in Austin with what my NJ-native butt considers summer weather pretty much year round! I looove winter and snow but there has been no snow this year😭

Happy FRIDAY!!! Who else is excited for the weekend?
Spring semester started recently so I’ve been busy but I’m working hard to get my galleries out! I’m taking a photography course this semester too so I’m excited to have more time to shoot.
