A photoshoot is always more than a few pictures. This particular photoshoot was an entire beautiful hour for two sisters to make memories. To kick off their boots and splash around in the river like kids again, and to make new river memories as beautiful grown women exercising their free will. They climbed trees, rolled in the grass, and laughed with each other. They paused and had some delicate moments remembering their lost loved ones. They spoke kindly and without hesitation. They held hands and they cheered each other on.
Photographing a sister session like this was such an honor for me. Creating this space and holding up a lens to these precious moments is what makes this my dream job.
