Most days, my job involves hours in Lightroom and fixing veils in the wind. Other days? I get to play dress up at a garden party and call it “work.” 🌸✨

Yesterday, the Austin Country Club hosted the cutest Sip & See for preferred vendors to celebrate their new lawn space, and it was such a joy getting to see this community show up for one another! So grateful to be surrounded by creatives who genuinely cheer each other on while making Austin weddings even prettier for our couples.

Bailey and McCain's engagement session!!

Two things I want to share about their session:

1. One of the easiest location options for your engagement photos is to go to your wedding venue! They'll be tying the (square) knot at Old Glory Ranch next June and it made the perfect backdrop for their engagement session!

2. There was a 30% chance of rain yesterday, but they said "we're ok to duck under an umbrella, if a shower pops up" - aka: they were willing to play in the rain so they could keep their date! To make sure we still had enough light for the Hill Country vibes they were hoping for, we moved the session up an hour since we knew we would lose light earlier than sunset.

And, everything turned out beautifully!
