Texas based documentary storyteller I've been fascinated with photography for as long as I can remember.

I was raised in the Chicagoland area, but about seven years ago, I moved to Texas, where I now live just outside Austin. I love capturing the everyday moments, finding beauty in what others might overlook. I’m drawn to color, textures, light, and shadow—always looking for that perfect interplay. I believe in immersing myself in the environment to capture something truly authentic. Through my photography, I hope to inspire others to slow down and find beauty in their own everyday lives.

Wildlife rescue mode: activated.

Luca and I were waking up this morning when we heard that unmistakable thud against the glass. Ran outside, found this little soul motionless in the grass by the bay window, and rushed him to safety on the patio.

I’m doing my best to keep him safe and comfortable while he rests, but it’s always a waiting game with window strikes. He is still recovering out on the patio. Just hoping so hard that he does okay and finds his wings again soon.

Golden hour with a yellow-crowned night heron.

There is something incredibly peaceful about watching these birds hunt right as the sun drops. The water turned to pure gold for just a few minutes, and he stood perfectly still long enough for me to catch the light catching his profile.
