I have a sweet little daughter of my own therefore I absolutely love working with kids and have the patience for it. :)

I have been doing photography for more than 10 years. I studied Photography in college but I like to think that I got my natural eye and love for photography from my grandfather. He was a professional photographer himself. While on the job at a Quinceañera, he actually met the

love of his life, who later became my grandmother. I have a few memories of my grandfather telling me about his on-the-job stories, but the day he met my grandmother by far has to be my favorite. :)

It took me a long time to come up with the name "Act of Love Photography". I wanted it to be something unique and with a story behind it, something that had to do with the love and respect i have for both my grandfather and photography. When it came to me I was thinking of the promise I made to my grandfather days before he passed away: I promised him that I would follow in his footsteps. And since that day everything that I'm doing and have done to accomplish my dream is an "Act of Love" towards my grandfather. I hope you like my work; recent pictures that I have taken are mixed in with many of my beginner photos from back when I had my little 5 mega pixel camera. :) That little camera never stopped me from capturing many wonderful moments though. Also, you may notice that many of my pictures are in Black & White. That is due to the love I have for a photo when it is stripped from its color, so so beautiful.

Hello everyone! 👋 I hope you are all staying safe. It has taken me a while to post about photo sessions since we’ve been living in very uncertain times and everything has been up in the air the past few weeks. However, I think it is safe to say that June is looking okay to book so I would love to begin taking pre-bookings for some fun post-quarantine Summer Mini Sessions! ☀️

Quarantine has really gotten my creative juices flowing! I couldn't help but get emotional with this session for two reasons. The peacock dress she is wearing is one of three dresses that was passed down by one of my students moms for Luna which was the sweetest thing ever. They noticed in a video I made for my students that Luna liked to dress up so she put them out for her. The second reason is because the peacock feathers that she is holding in some of the photos used to be my grandfathers. He used to collect feathers and peacock feathers were his favorite. I had so much fun editing this session, we'll see what we come up with next!

I've definitely been feeling the self love. When my daughter walked out of her room she saw me and immediately said "Mommy, I want to wear that!" How could I say no!
