Tia | Class of 2027

Last year, I had the absolute honor of being Tia's mentor through the Mower County CEO program, where I got to witness her find her voice, grow in confidence, and put her skills to the test. She worked her butt off, inspired me and so many others along the way. She is just a really freaking rad human!

Thus you can imagine my absolute joy when her name popped up in my inquiries for a senior session. Once again, I was honored to be a small part of such a big chapter in her life.

And WOW, am I proud of this girl and how far she has come. Watching someone step into themselves, find their confidence, and become more and more of who they are meant to be is such a freaking cool thing to witness.

Tia was so laid back in front of the camera, down for all of my silly requests. Her style was timeless and completely true to her. I wanted her to have photos she could look back on and give love to this version of herself while also looking forward to all the versions of herself she has yet to become.

She also brought along the best hype crew: Momma and sister, who let her do her thing while encouraging her to keep coming out of her shell. Everything about this session felt so perfect. A stormy day gave us gorgeous overcast skies, which paired perfectly with her sunshine of a personality.

Minus the part where she got stung by a bee... not once, but TWICE. 🐝 That was definitely a first for me!

Tia, I am so damn proud of you.
I cannot wait to see where life takes you next. 💛

Ahhhh, WHO keep's sending me all these marvelous families?
These three were such a joy to photograph. Their love was contagious + overflowing into every laugh, every glance, and every family giggle. And they made my job easy, being so natural in front of the camera.

A beautiful family, while the sun is setting at Rooted Flower Co. sunflower field? It amazes me that this is my real life?

It is an absolute honor to me when you book a couples session and then come back with your family to have more moments captured. I feel so lucky to meet so many incredible people thru this lens, and to photograph the magic that already exists in your family is a serious privilege I never ever take for granted!

Wrapping up sunflower minis with my friends over at Rooted Flower Co. who pour into their community with kindness and love! This fam knocked it out of the park - their girlies where a hoot!

Sunflowers Mini were SOOOOO GOOD this past Friday night! The sweetest families, the beauty of the sun setting and in the middle of a sunflower field - is this really my life?
