I think of photographers more as directors and artists than anything else. We tend to work with subjects who aren't always comfortable in front of the camera and its our job to direct them from start to finish. The best part of photography is watching how it can reveal one's true beauty and preserve it in immortality. We ditch the canvas and choose to paint with light; to sculpt with the environme

nt we are presented with. Lastly, photographers are thieves. We get away with loot from the most beautiful, the most scary, the most spectacular places that you can ever find. I get to work with people with fascinating stories and it is tremendously exciting to get to tell those stories through pictures. Working with a subject is about chemistry, its a journey thats about understanding the world and human relationships. I believe the best memories are made when we are surrounded by the right people. They are small episodes of people's lives and my passion is taking those moments and making them last a life time.
