I have the hardest time letting go of the summer. It was a good one - I love, love, love my kids at these ages (8-16) and treasure time with them. We mostly enjoyed being home but took an early trip to Seaside to kick off the summer followed by a week long stay in Athens, GA for Ryan to attend an art camp at UGA. We stopped by Savannah to check out Savannah College of Art and Design and then visited Charleston while we were in the area. Several trips to our favorite swimming hole in Wimberley. Ryan stopped at every yarn store and record store in a ten mile radius of whenever we were. Sloane worked hard at volleyball all summer, including at a camp at Baylor. Ben, George, Bobby and I played pickleball every chance we got. I’m so grateful for the slower pace of the summer and being refreshed as I head into fall and busy season. 📷

Just a couple more Senior Sundays left for this class of 2026 seniors, and I had to make space for this gorgeous girl (who I, incidentally, first photographed when she was eight, scroll to the end). Only two more months for his class of 2026 seniors, so I figure I’d better get to sharing all the beautiful and talented kids I’ve had the privilege of working with this year. I don’t get too many boys typically, but the ones I do get hate it. No, just kidding. Kind of. Let’s just say they’re not signing up for any extra time or second locations. I try to make it as painless as possible for these good sports, and also make their mamas happy. Congrats to those handsome young men and may the years ahead be your best yet. 🎓
