There’s something about a father/daughter first look that gets me every single time.

In the middle of all the wedding chaos, timelines, makeup touch-ups, and nerves… everything slows down for a second.

And then dad turns around.

Suddenly he’s looking at the little girl he used to carry on his shoulders standing in front of him as a bride. And I swear, it gets quiet in a way that almost feels sacred.

Some dads cry immediately. Some crack jokes because they’re trying not to. Some just stare for a second like their brain is catching up to the moment.

But every single one of them feels it.

And honestly? So do I behind the camera every time.

These are the moments that end up meaning so much more than just a beautiful photo years from now. They become part of the emotional heartbeat of the day.
