I brought a camera behind the cameras during our latest Austin Supper Club shoot to show the entire production process, from unloading gear to the final setup, to packing everything up again.

The new Deity PR-4 didn't spend much time sitting on my desk.

Less than 24 hours after it arrived, it was already on a client shoot recording a boom-mounted Sennheiser MKE 600 while I also recorded audio directly into my FX6.

I'm a big believer in redundant audio. If there's an issue with one recording, I still have a backup. It also gives me more flexibility when editing.

The goal is to make sure the client gets clean, usable audio every time.

So far, so good.
